Mission Statement
The principal mission of The Community Trust is to enhance the quality of life in the communities served by the establishment of permanent endowments for the cities of Lynchburg and Bedford and the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford and Campbell, with income distributed annually to charitable organizations within the community.
Service Area
The Community Trust is organized and operated to accept gifts to be administered exclusively for charitable purposes primarily in and for the benefit of the cities of Bedford and Lynchburg, and the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, and Campbell.
We accept gifts for charities supported by residents both within and outside our service area.
